A play by Lynda Barry, based on her graphic novel of the same name, which tells the story of a young white girl named Edna Arkins growing up in a rapidly changing Seattle neighborhood during the late 1960s. She navigates the complexities of race and class forming a deep friendship with a Black girl named Bonna Willis.
